Posttraumatic Stress Disorder can take hold of someone’s life no matter their age, sex, race or ethnicity. Sadly, because some of its wounds are not visible there can be a stigma attached to a diagnosis and treatment.

Joyce Kyles, a domestic violence survivor, founded a local non-profit called Walking Into A New Life that helps others navigate the rocky road of survival.
