Earthquakes explained by Dr. Oliver Boyd

Ten years ago on this date, an earthquake in Virginia set a record. It was felt by more people than any previous eastern U.S. quake. The five-point-eight magnitude quake caused hundreds of millions of dollars in damage.

Because we live in the New Madrid Seismic Zone, today is a good day to remind ourselves of the risk factors.
