Coalition wants to end agreement between SCS, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office

A coalition of non-profits and activists want Shelby County Schools to end their agreement with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, which provides resource officers in schools. The groups believe that dissolving that relationship will remove young people’s early connection to the criminal justice system.
