MONT BELVIEU, Texas – Police believe they may be investigating a murder after a Walmart customer found a woman’s half-naked body inside a truck parked in the store’s lot.

The unidentified 24-year-old left the Mont Belvieu Walmart just after 1 a.m. on April 11, surveillance confirmed.

She then got into a truck, owned by her boyfriend, and didn’t leave after that, according to KHOU.

He had reported her missing on April 10, according to police.

Because of the angle of the surveillance cameras, police weren’t able to see what was happening inside the cab of the vehicle.

When her body was discovered two days later, she was naked from the waist down.

“At this time we have no blunt trauma force, we have no physical injuries,” said Sheriff Brian Hawthorne. “There are some things that are very suspicious.”

Police are treating the investigation as a possible homicide, but have not yet classified it as such.
