MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police have made an arrest in a shooting that killed one person and injured another.

Police said the suspect, David Alexander, 33, was working as a security guard at the club where it happened, O’Cielo Mexican Bar & Grill.

Police said people were shooting toward the bar, and Alexander returned fire. His shots hit the two victims, who were not the shooters.

Alexander has been charged with reckless homicide, aggravated assault and acting as a guard without a license.

Alvin Hart, 43, died on the scene, and the other victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
