MEMPHIS, Tenn. — First responders were called to I-240 near Parkway Friday evening after an accident forced the interstate to shutdown.

According to a spokesperson with the Memphis Police, the car was traveling down I-240 when it flipped and caught on fire.

One child was ejected from the vehicle.

All three victims were taken to a hospital, but miraculously were not seriously hurt.

The northbound lanes were closed as a result.

They have since been re-opened.
