Man dies after Chelsea Avenue shooting


MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One man is dead after a shooting Tuesday in North Memphis.

Memphis Police said the man walked into a fire station at 2248 Chelsea Avenue and said he’d been shot. The man was taken to Regional One but did not survive.

Police said the shooting happened in the 1600 block of National at Chelsea. That’s more than two miles away.
