Firefighter injured working Highland Heights house fire

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A firefighter was injured while battling a house fire Tuesday morning in Highland Heights, the Memphis Fire Department said.

The fire on Faxon Avenue near Holmes broke out around 5:30 a.m. and briefly shut down the street.

The firefighter was taken to a hospital in non-critical condition as a precaution.
