MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Fire investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a large fire early Monday morning in South Memphis.

The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. at an abandoned building on Virginia Street near the I-55/Crump interchange.

Flames could be seen shooting into the sky from the WREG studios a few blocks away.

No injuries were reported.
