MEMPHIS, Tenn — The Memphis Fire Department is still working to determine what caused an overnight fire at a Nutbush apartment complex.

The fire started around one 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning at the Villages at Harrison Creek Apartments.

The fire started in the living room of one unit on the 3800 block of Jackson Avenue and managed to damage a total of six units.

There were no critical civilian or firefighter injuries caused by the fire. Two individuals were transported to the hospital after getting lacerations to their feet caused by structure damage.

No word yet on if any families will be able to move back in to their homes, but Red Cross assistance was requested.
