Mirimichi
(Millington. TN 7/13/2009) A sprawling golf course owned by singer Justin Timberlake is nearing completion and will start taking reservations for tee times this week.
The course, Mirimichi, sits close to where Timberlake grew up before joing N-Sync. It's also the course Timberlake first learned to play golf on as a child.
The course, formerly known as Big Creek Golf Course, went up for auction and Timberlake decided to buy it and renovate it.
Mirimichi is a public golf course which is said to be challenging but fun at the same time.
Timberlake says the name means "place of happy retreat.
Much of the course has been retooled and has been deisgnated as eco-friendly, even producing more energey than it needs to operate.
The course is set to open July, 25 with reservations being accepted starting July, 15.
