The prescription card will make you eligible for discounts on prescription drugs.
The offer is not costing the city or county any money and is sponsored by the National League of Cities.
The program can save an average of 20 percent off the full retail cost of prescription medication for those who are without health insurance, a pharmacy benefit plan, or have prescriptions not covered by insurance.
The prescription benefit cards will be available at any city building including community centers and libraries. There are no age or income restrictions and most pharmacies are taking part.
