"Five-hundred-thousand dollars for a bond for aggravated assault when he did not even assault anyone, when he was at work. That's crazy." says Havand Rainey, Robinson's mother.

Robinson's three pit bulls attacked 62-year-old Helen Marshall as she walked her son's dog last Thursday.

Her hands are still swollen and scarred from the dog bites.

Robinson's attorney says far worse crimes have gotten far less bail amounts.

"This is a 3 to 6 year sentence, a half million dollar bond is like no bond at all." says Marvin Ballin, Robinson's attorney.

Robinson's lawyer says his bond didn't go through Pre-Trial Services like 95% of other cases.

It went straight to a Judge, who set it even before Robinson was arrested.

The judge said Robinson has a horrible record and prior incidents. Robinson returns to court Wednesday to see if his bond will be lowered.

The victim and her husband will be there.

"When I first heard it I thought that's a lot of money, but now after learning all of the different episodes and how many times this has happened, I don't know if it can be raised, but that would be what I'd be for." says Gene Marshall, Helen Marshall's husband.

Andre Robinson's family also plans to be at that bond hearing Wednesday.

They say their dogs must have been provoked.

They think whoever broke into their garage, let the dogs out and that's who should face charges.
