(Memphis 5/14/2009) At a time of tragedy, friends gather and remember the good times.
It's what 21 year old Paul Jones' friends did hours after hearing he was killed in a motorcycle wreck.
"I still don't believe it. It's gonna be hard to get use to. I still don't believe it," says Zachary Bowen, Jones' childhood friend.
Police say it was a chain reaction.
A group of motorcycle riders left Beale Street headed down Interstate 240.
35-year-old Tawanza Franklin was on her pink Suzuki.
Witnesses say she ran into the back of an Oldsmobile.
Her motorcycle wrecked. Paul, who may have been riding behind her, then struck Tawanza.
Police say Paul's bike landed 1300 feet from the crash.
The two riders, a part of the #1 Stunna Bike Club, were killed.
Tawanza was a part of a women's biking group and had just graduated from college.
Paul had been riding a year. Friends say he loved it.
"He loved his bike. He loved his bike more than females." says Anderson Myers, Paul Jones' childhood friend.
Motorcycle club members are already making plans to remember their fellow riders with a fundraiser this weekend.
The fundraiser will be held Sunday afternoon at 5:00 at the King Riders Motorcycle Club on Raines Road.
The driver of the car was also taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
