(MEMPHIS October 21, 2009 8:46 PM) -- When nine-year-old Gianna Welch's mom won four tickets from FM 100 to the Miley Cyrus Concert at FedExForum, Gianna couldn't believe it.

But what would she do with those two extra tickets? Sure, her mom would go. But her dad and brother weren't interested. Instead of inviting a classmate or friend, Gianna decided she wanted the tickets to go to a stranger.

So with the help of St. Jude, Gianna found Kami Chauncy. Not only is Kami undergoing treatment at St. Jude, but she also happens to be a huge Miley Cyrus fan.

Gianna surprised Kami with the tickets Tuesday afternoon. But these weren't just any tickets. These tickets included a free pass to the sound check party, where the two girls would actually get to meet Cyrus.

"It was awesome," said Gianna after the party.

Kami is from Louisana. She was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia more than two years ago. Her mother has been counting the days. "It's been two years, seven months and 19 days that she's been sick," says Jill Chauncy.

Some of those days have been downright tough. But this week has been pretty good. Kami went through her last round of chemotherapy, and is now cancer free. She was about to head back home, until she got the reason of a lifetime stay in Memphis for just one more day.

"I'm feeling really good. I'm happy," said Kami after meeting Miley Cyrus.

The two girls went to dinner after the sound check, then arrived for the show in a limo. It was an incredible night for the two Miley fans, that started with an incredible gesture by a nine-year-old girl.
