I think it is a shame, what is going on in Memphis. I have been here for 5 years and there are not that many fires to constitute so much over time.  Unfortunenately there is a lot of crime.   I believe if TN cleaned house from the top things would change.  There are so many things that are done backwards here is unbelieveable.  I hate having to live here, but I have no choice for now.

The state, cuts programs for young girls pregnancy prevention, so they can have their lunch catered; where does that make sense.  There is nothing in Memphis for young people of course they will get in trouble.  There is no help here, I know a young mother with 3 babies under age 3 and a five year old; whose been turned away from section 8, Family aid won't financilly help her because she does not drive and can't get to their work program for $264 they would give her.  That would'nt even start to pay for an apartment.  So she lives from place to place with her children in hope that one day she can have her own place for her kids.  Where is the justice in that.  Yet I don't see any news about these situations, I am sure there are a lot of young mothers in the same situation.  What a shame that this state does not care enough to help.
