(Memphis, 11/13/09) People who shop and work in the Camp Creek Shopping center are on high alert.
Police say 9 pm Wednesday a man dressed in all black clothing with a handkerchief over his face barged this Little Cesar's during business hours holding three employees at gun point.
"He displayed two weapons a pistol in one hand and revolver in his other hand," said Chief Tim Presley with Olive Branch Police.
He pointed the gun at one clerk while she gave him all the cash in her register. Then he turned to the other clerk demanding she clean out a second drawer. Police are not saying how much the crook got away with.
The Little Cesar's didn't have any surveillance video, but a camera from the Wal-Mart next door captured a car speeding out of the parking lot. Police believe the gunman had a get away driver waiting on him.
Olive Branch Police say crime is up in their town. And with holiday shopping on the horizon, they are warning shoppers that this is a desperate time for criminals. "We just want to remind every body to please be observant be cautious if you see suspicious vehicles or suspicious persons pick up the phone and call the police," added Major Presley.
In the meantime, police continue to search for the suspect. Hoping someone might recognize this car or know who did this.
