(Memphis, TN/September 28, 2011) They are some of the latest pictures and video the Shelby County Sheriffs Office shares on its Facebook page, but these aren't suggested Facebook friends they want you to like.

No, these are bad guys caught on home security video they and Southeast Shelby County neighbors such as Dave Higley want busted.

Higley said, "People ought not think they can just show up in our neighborhood and start breaking in and stealing things."
        
Home security pictures and video clearly show two men breaking in the front door and entering a home last month in the 4900 block of South Germantown Road.

Chip Washington is the Public Information Officer with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.

Washington said, "If you have some documentation it will allow us to catch these guys a lot quicker."
          
The sheriff's office says the images are another tool for them to use.

Washington said, "I think more and more homeowners are conscious of their surroundings and safety and more and more folks are getting home security systems, cameras and things like that and it helps us do our job better."
                
These days it's cheaper to install more elaborate home monitoring systems and watch what's going on inside your home on devices such as an iPad.

Barry Howard is with a security alarm company called Stop Alarms, Incorporated.

Howard said, "I think it's a great tool as for the community is concerned and residents are concerned that we can help protect ourselves, belongings and families and help police, as well."
           
It's why neighbors like Dave Higley hope this new tool and an old one involving one another will help turn snap shots into mugshots.

Higley said, "l think personally neighbors need to get to know neighbors and neighbors need to exchange phone numbers and neighbors need to watch each other."
