(Memphis 11/17/2009) She is only 19, but if you believe the Police Affidavit, Margarita Perez isn't one you want to make angry.

It was allegedly anger that caused her to lash out at her disabled boyfriend in their Midtown apartment on Sunday.

According to the police affidavit, Margarita got into a heated argument with Mario, who has his right hand amputated above the wrist.

It says after bounding his left hand and feet together, she pushed Mario into the bathtub, turned scalding water from the shower on him and then tied a cord around his neck, choking him.

She only stopped when Mario agreed to feed their kids. Neighbors, who keep to themselves, had no idea.

"When something going on, you are inside, you don't know nothing." says one neighbor.

By Monday, the couple was at it again.

This time police say Margarita picked up their 7-month-old daughter, walked over to the sink, ran scalding water and was about to put the little girl in.

She stopped when Mario called the police.

He was taken to the Med and Margarita was later arrested, charged with Especially Aggravated Kidnappings and Attempted Second Degree Murder.

Police say she often threatened to kill the kids when Mario would not do what she wanted.

Margarita Perez is in jail on $250,000 bond.
