(Shelby County 7/16/2009) The owner of Imbibrios Sports Bar was hauled out in handcuffs Thursday night.
Thorne Peters is accused of operating an "open drug market" inside his bar located just outside of Millington. The Shelby County Sheriff's department began investigating the bar in November. Since then, they say undercover officers were able to make several drug buys. When Investigators raided the place, they say they found several grams of marijuana as well as prescription drugs.
As he was hauled away in handcuffs, Peters told WREG he doesn't use or sell drugs.
Two other employees were arrested and sent down to 201 Poplar. All three face felony drug charges. Authorities say more arrests will be made in this case.
