(Collierville, TN 10/28/2009) It's evidence that's hard to deny.
Teenagers taped throwing punches and cheering on other fighting teens.
The video has 28 kids headed to Juvenile Court .
Clara Jones' 15-year-old grandson Joseph is one of them, charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
"When it's a fight for you sometimes you don't have no choice. I don't like nobody have to be put in that position." says Jones.
Since the fight at a Collierville Park in August, Joseph has been in alternative school and hasn't been allowed back to Collierville High.
This summer he told us he did fracture another boy's jaw, but in self defense.
"I wasn't planning on fighting or nothing, They just put me in a circle and I kept on turning around and dude acted like he was gonna hit me, so I hit him first." Joseph said in a September interview.
Police cracked down and say there have been no more of these fight clubs.
The 28 kids they rounded up will have their day in court Friday.
"This was not kid's play. This was a serious incident where some people got hurt. This was against the law." says Barry Mitchell with Juvenile Court.
Clara Jones has been talking to her grandson about making better choices.
She just wishes the police crackdown had come sooner.
"If these kinds of things weren't being done, I feel like these charge might not have ever happened." says Jones.
The juveniles who will appear in court Friday are charged with everything from prize fighting and sparring to assault and disorderly conduct.
They all received summons to court and were released to their parents.
Clara Jones has two other grand children who will also be in court for this same fighting case Friday.
They are two 16 year olds who were watching as punches were thrown.
