FAST FACTS:
Owners of Bartlett Small Engines are hoping surveillance video from several cameras will help police nab the thieves who made off with more than a $100,000 worth of lawn mowers.
"It's a tough hit. a very tough hit," said Kelley Lester with Bartlett Small Engines.
This morning employees of Bartlett Small Engines were still trying to determine how many lawn mowers were hauled away by crooks.
The know they lost at least 10 zero turn rider lawn mowers and maybe 15 more push mowers. Many of the push mowers belonged to customers and were in for repairs
"We are starting to go through them this morning. This time of year there is a lot of equipment here," said Lester.
Employees have also spent hours going over surveillance video.
On the video you can see 2 people enter from the woods next to the business and even move around some of the surveillance cameras.
Later there are up to five people on the lot loading the lawn mowers on the back of a pickup and on a trailer hooked up to another truck.
The video also shows the thieves made two trips there. They were at the business at 10:45PM and again at 1AM.
"You would assume they had been here before, because they moved the cameras. It was someone who acted like they were very comfortable with what was going on," said Lester.
Employees are hoping the trucks, one a 90's model Chevy Silverado with a long wheel base and white bottom and the other an older short wheel base Chevy, painted several colors will give the bad guys away.
"I make commissions on each mower I sell. Now, I don't have an inventory to sell. So it hurts my paycheck at the end of the week," said Dillon Kirby.
The lawn mowers were insured.
