MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG-TV) - The Memphis and Shelby County Health Department will begin administering H1N1 vaccine to everyone, starting Tuesday, December 1st. In a news release, the health department says the move will help ensure that more people are immunized.
In addition to making the vaccine available to all residents, the Health Department continues to stress that those in the following priority groups - pregnant women, individuals who live with or provide care for infants younger than six months of age, healthcare workers and emergency healthcare personnel, children and young adults aged six months to 24 years, and individuals aged 25-64 years with chronic medical conditions - continue to receive it.
Vaccine is available at no charge at the following Health Department clinics:
