FAST FACTS:
(Southeast Memphis 1/5/2010) Flames erupted at a Southeast Memphis apartment complex Tuesday night.
It happened around 7:15 p.m. at the Pinebrook Point Apartments. When crews arrived smoke and flames were shooting out of the building. Four units were involved. It took crews 45 minute to get the flames under control.
A rehab truck was on standby just in case any of the 41 firefighters got too cold. Fortunately no one suffered any injuries.
A security guard evacuated the building so none of the tenants were hurt.
A group of firefighters even saved one tenant's puppy. The 1-year-old dog was found hiding in a bathtub.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
