( Memphis 2/4/2010) News Channel 3 has confirmed two Memphis Animal Shelter workers have been indicted by the Shelby County Grand Jury.

Tina Quattlebaum and Angela Middleton were both indicted on on six counts of aggravated animal cruelty (a class E felony).

We are told Quattlebaum was the supervisor of the animal shelter. Middleton was a veterinarian at the shelter.

Both were arrested Thursday evening by Shelby County Sheriff's deputies and are being held on $25,000 bond.

A third defendant has been indicted but is not yet in custody.
