(Memphis-6/17/2010) Memphis Firefighters responding to an early morning house fire discover a meth lab.
It happened Thursday in the Nutbush area of Memphis.
The fire started in a shed behind a home on Truman Avenue near the National Cemetery at around 2A.M.
Once the fire was out, firefighters found the meth making materials inside.
This is just the latest of several meth lab busts in that area over the past few months.
Neighbors weren't surprised to learn what police had found behind the home.
"It used to be a nice quiet neighborhood. It is not that way anymore. We've lived here a long time. It's not quiet any more," said Ron Sherrill.
It took firefighters several hours to remove all the hazardous materials they found.
Police did take someone in for questioning, but so far have not filed charges against anyone for this operation.
