(Fayette County, TN 11/17/2009) -- Eight people are in custody after investigators with both the Somerville Police Department and the Fayette County Sheriff's Office busted a suspected meth lab Tuesday.

Investigators say they got a tip about people coming and going at all hours of the night from the home at 1470 Warren Road.

After detectives served a warrant, they say they discovered evidence of an active meth lab as well as some finished product.

Detectives believe the suspects were making and selling the dangerous drug from the home.

This is the 5th meth lab bust in Fayette County this year, compared to zero in 2008.

Investigators say meth cooks have found easier, cheaper ways to cook the addictive drug, but the newer methods still pose a danger to those making the meth, and the people living around them.
