"you know this property is stolen from Hardeman County, TN, Tippah County, MS, we've got some equipment from Tate County, and Marshall County," said Major Kelly McMillan of the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.

Right now, police have one person in custody. Two other people fled the scene and are still on the run. Investigators are now trying to figure out how the criminals were running their operation and how long it was going on.

"That's a good question because some of this property is from 2005 and different times so it would be hard to say its undetermined right now," said McMillan The one thing they do know, it doesn't look like the thieves were looking to make a profit from the equipment. Instead, they were getting personal use out of it.

"It looked like they were building an utility shed and cleared off some more property over there and made it something else to do some more construction," said McMillan.

Word of the construction bust brought Chris Byan from Boonville, Mississippi to Marshall County. He and other potential victims are hoping to recover what is theirs and for police to catch all people involved.

"Criminals, I think they all need caught. My family was raised like that we ain't got nothing for thieves. I hope they catch them.

$12-25,000 worth of drugs were also seized. Investigators are asking anyone with information to the Sheriff's Department at 662-252-1311.
