FAST FACTS:
( Memphis 2/11/2010) The so-called 'Big-bellied' Rapist, who's already admitted to raping three Weakley County women, will soon be headed to Shelby County to face more charges.
Bruce Tuck is already serving a 60-year sentence.
Thursday a grand jury indicted him for attacking three Shelby County women last summer. He faces multiple counts of Aggravated Rape, Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, Robbery, Burglary, the list goes on and on.
"This is one example where we have serious state laws," said District Attorney Bill Gibbons.
He says the indictments send a strong message.
"We're not going to tolerate this, we're going to do everything we can to hold him accountable," said Gibbons.
Tuck is serving out his sentence in Hardeman County. He'll be headed back to Memphis any day.
His victims say he wore a ninja-like mask when he broke into their homes and sexually assaulted them. If a trial goes forward they will take the stand and face their attacker.
"You are pointing out the person who wronged you, and making sure justice is served," said Deborah Clubb of the Memphis Area Women's Council.
She says Tuck's indictment is crucial for the healing process. Not just for the victims, but for the entire community.
"We all need to know that police, sheriff's, judges, are doing what needs to be done to get these people off the street and put very far away," said Clubb.
Gibbons says it's certainly possible Tuck could plead guilty and avoid a trial. He says he doesn't want to speculate.
"I don't have any idea whether he's going to plead guilty or not we'll just have to wait and see," said Gibbons.
