Stephanie Scurlock
News Channel 3's Stephanie Scurlock reports during the week and co-anchors weekend Daybreak with Dennis Turner.
Stephanie grew up in Dermott, in the Delta area of Southeast Arkansas. She received her degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Central Arkansas at Conway.
Her first job in television was in the Texarkana, TX bureau of a Shreveport, LA television station. She joined News Channel 3 in July 1991 as a reporter.
Stephanie's husband Gerald is an attorney in Memphis and they have one son, Gerald Jr. When Stephanie's not reporting for News Channel 3 Daybreak or taking care of my family, she works with the Boy Scouts of America.
She also enjoys speaking to groups of school children across the Mid-South. Stephanie is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. In her leisure time, she likes to go shopping or read.
When people ask Stephanie what she loves most about the Bluff City she tells them, "The river, the ribs and friends I've made here."
