Kris says he's very excited to be in Memphis, and back in the South. He's originally from Miami, FL, so he says he's well prepared for the scorching summer months here in the Mid-South!
Kris graduated from Florida International University in 1999 with a B.S. in Communications.
He's a huge sports fan. He began his broadcast career as Sports Director at a small station in the town of Oak Hill, WV. Kris says he enjoyed covering events during his two-plus years in sports, but suddenly had a change of heart...and switched to news. He was promoted to evening news anchor and has been anchoring the news ever since. It's a decision Kris says he's very happy with.
